Testimonials from recent students:

“My only feed back is that you have a lovely teaching style, relaxed , friendly and not rushed.  For me, the perfect thing to do on my day off and the finale that gorgeous cake.  Just perfect!!!!”

“I traveled a long way for my one on one lesson with Julie, I live abroad, so a lot was riding on it as I had made a big investment to get there and it was the first step in a new business venture. I have been to a lot of art and craft tutorials and some tutors aren’t very good at imparting knowledge. Julie was great. The whole lesson felt uncluttered, from workspace to answers to all my questions. I learned about fabrics, suppliers, shapes and possibilities and before I knew it, I had made a lovely fabric covered 30cm drum shade. Julie fed me delicious home made cake, drove me to the station afterwards and then took time to answer dozens of questions on email. I felt really supported in the learning, before and after. Julie’s lesson is more affordable than many, but I opted for her as she came recommended by a lampshade supply company… I’m very happy to endorse that recommendation. Thank you Julie.”
