We can help you find just the right fabric for your bespoke lampshade.
The wonderful thing about bespoke lampshades is that you can choose the exact fabric that suits your tastes and your home. However, it’s worth noting that some work better than others so it’s always best to check with us first. Thinner fabrics will obviously let the light filter through and ones that don’t fray are definitely easier to work with. If you have your heart set on an empire or tapered lampshade (smaller at the top than at the bottom) then it’s best to steer clear of geometric patterns or they’ll look wonky!
Get in touch if you need any advice on fabrics for your lampshade, and you are welcome to send us your own samples so we can check they will work nicely.
