Our house is becoming a gilhoolie gallery…

I keep telling myself it won't be long until the sun's shining so that I have an excuse to buy some new clothes, have a barbeque and sit in the garden sipping a nice cold glass of Pimm's... well you have to dream don't you?! It's been too long since my hand-stitched lampshade course and I'm only just finishing off my next project. A couple of weeks ago I ran a lampshade workshop @toast_marlow
Another large empire lampshade recovered this week. Using @clarke_clarke_interiors Linoso II in charcoal. A nice contrast against the pink flowers!
Gorgeous gorgeous lampshade in the sunshine ๐ŸŒž
Hmmmm! Little Rosie is a pickle. Into everything! But I'm managing to make lampshades in between stopping the digging and chewing (she's very vocal, I tell her off and she barks back ๐Ÿคฃ)
I'm looking forward to teaching a lampshade workshop @toast_marlow tomorrow evening. Six attendees will be learning to make a small drum lampshade from a selection of lovely @toast fabric remnants. Can't wait! ๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒž
I hope you're enjoying this warm spell! Our garden is going crazy, lots of colourful flowers and the veg patch is coming along nicely. I love picking lettuce for lunch every day and am looking forward to peas, raspberries, chard, sweetcorn, tomatoes, cucumbers, French beans and lots more ๐Ÿ˜‹
